Arksen 20 Gallon Waste Oil Change Tank Review

Here I do a full review of the Arksen 20 gallon waste oil change tank

Review

My new shop has a car lift in it, so I needed to update some of my equipment. This was an early buy for me, as I change oil on our vehicles regularly. In the video, I do a full un-box and assembly – here’s the tools I used in the process (with Amazon links):

Following the instructions, the unit went together fairly quickly. Overall the unit seems solidly built to me. The C-clips that hold on the large wheels bent a little easier than I would like, but that’s really the only thing I noticed that could be a problem. As I mention, the point where the hose attaches to the tank was not tight at all, and in the end I really had to crank down on this to keep it from leaking.

I’ve had the unit over 3 months now, and still no leaks, so I’m pretty happy. Once I get a little more oil in it (I probably have over 5 gallons in it right now) I will try to do a “drain” video. One thing I do plan to be careful of when draining will be to keep the oil jugs at a level higher than the tank oil level so it doesn’t develop a siphon and overfill the jug.

Bottom line, I’d give this a four out of five stars, and would recommend it to others – if you’re looking to buy one and would like to support my efforts at no cost to you, please use the link below.
