Shop Addition Dirt and Concrete Work

This is the beginning stages of our shop addition, including all the dirt work, foundation and inside slab.

Summary

We like to keep our RV on our property, so when we recently moved, we needed to add on to the existing shop to make room for our 5th wheel. This video shows the beginning stages of the project over about 10 days, including:

• Exterior wall removal and initial ground leveling
• Final ground leveling and removal of a portion of the existing driveway
• Digging the foundation
• Forming of the foundation pad
• Laying the concrete for the foundation pad
• Removing the foundation pad forms, then forming the foundation walls
• Laying the concrete for the foundation walls
• Removing the foundation wall forms and backfilling
• Leveling and tamping for the inside concrete slab
• Laying and finishing the inside concrete slab
